Shining Buterflies (ATC)

Hi all! I'm so happy and proud to be invited as a guest designer for one amazing challenge - Happy Little Stampers.I love all the inspirations on their blog and just how talented the ladies on the DT are.

So for the May Mix Media Challenge the theme is "Shine" and you can participate with your sparkling projects as long as they have mix media techniques (stamps + ink, plus two other elements which add texture and/or dimension).

 

For your inspiration I made a series of artist's trading cards which I brought at our annual "Cardsaddicted" meeting. I choose those lovely butterflies from the first stamp set that I ever bought and colored them with my Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens.It's too bad that the camera couldn't catch the lovely shine on the wings. For the background I used several acrylic paints and stencils. And at the end I stamped some inspirational words.
